He also was a member of the victorious 1957 United States Walker Cup Team and on five occasions competed in the Masters Tournament.

Blum served as President of the Georgia State Golf Association and is enshrined in the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame and the Southern Golf Association Hall of Fame.

"A true gentlemen in golf and life, Idle Hour's Arnold Blum"

A.J. "Duck" Swan, Jr.
Memorial Par 3 Course

This par 3 golf course is dedicated to the memory of Albert Jernigan (A.J. "Duck") Swann, Jr. His love for the game of golf and his selfless devotion to the junior golf program at Idle Hour Club were exceeded only by his reputation as a world class golfer. "Duck" was a true gentleman and one of the finest ambassadors the game of golf has ever known. Idle Hour Club was indeed fortunate and honored to have had him as a member and friend.
